Hi-Way Drive-In Theatre
Coxsackie, New York
Hi-Way Drive-In Theatre is one of New York's most expansive drive-in experiences, operating four screens along Route 9W in Coxsackie in Greene County since it was built in 1950. With one of the longest seasons among upstate New York drive-ins — running from March through October — Hi-Way gives Capital Region families a full eight months of big-screen entertainment under the stars. Each screen has its own dedicated FM frequency: 89.9 for Screen 1, 88.5 for Screen 2, 95.1 for Screen 3, and 104.1 for Screen 4. Adult admission is $10 and children 3–11 are $5, with kids 2 and under free. Coxsackie sits in the Hudson Valley about 25 miles south of Albany, making Hi-Way an easy evening destination from the Capital Region as well as from the Catskills and mid-Hudson Valley. The four-screen format means four different films showing simultaneously, giving groups and families the flexibility to choose what they want to watch while still sharing the classic drive-in atmosphere.
