Hathaway's Drive-In Theatre

About Hathaway's Drive-In Theatre

Hathaway's Drive-In Theatre has been welcoming guests to North Hoosick since 1948, making it one of the oldest continuously operating drive-ins in the Capital Region. Tucked away on Route 67 in Rensselaer County near the Vermont border, Hathaway's offers a peaceful, rural drive-in experience away from suburban sprawl. The twin-screen theater broadcasts Screen 1 on 88.1 FM and Screen 2 on 90.1 FM, with double feature programming throughout the season. Adult tickets are $13 and children are $7, with kids 2 and under free. The drive-in's remote location — between Hoosick Falls and the Vermont state line — has made it a beloved destination for families willing to make the short drive from Albany, Troy, and the Capital District. Hathaway's has operated continuously for over 75 years, surviving the rise of multiplexes and streaming to remain one of upstate New York's most authentic drive-in experiences.
