About Warwick Drive-In Theatre
Warwick Drive-In Theatre has been an Orange County institution since 1950, anchoring the entertainment options in Warwick — a charming village in the heart of New York's apple country, surrounded by orchards, farms, and the scenic Warwick Valley. The three-screen, 700-car drive-in gives Hudson Valley residents and New York City day-trippers a genuine multi-screen drive-in experience with screens broadcasting on 87.9 FM, 89.9 FM, and 90.9 FM simultaneously. Adults pay $11 and children $8. Warwick sits in Orange County near the New Jersey border, about 60 miles northwest of New York City via Route 17 — close enough for a city escape but fully immersed in the rural Hudson Valley atmosphere. The drive-in's longevity through 75-plus years — surviving the suburban sprawl that claimed most of the region's other drive-ins — reflects both the theater's quality and the community's commitment to preserving this piece of American culture.
