Circle Drive-In

The Circle Drive-In in Dickson City, just outside Scranton, is one of the longest-running drive-in theaters in the United States, having opened in 1949. The theater boasts one of the largest movie screens in all of Pennsylvania, making its visual experience hard to match. Twin screens run double features from April through October, with each screen broadcasting on its own FM frequency: 89.3 FM for Screen 1 and 89.5 FM for Screen 2. Admission is $9 for adults and $7 for children. A flea fair operates on the grounds on select days, making the Circle Drive-In a full-day destination for northeastern Pennsylvania families. The theater's combination of size, history, and dual-screen programming makes it the premier drive-in destination in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre region.
