The Globe Drive-In Theater

The Globe Drive-In Theater in Pflugerville is one of Texas' most unique drive-in experiences: a deliberately intimate, 30-car boutique theater that focuses entirely on the quality of the film experience rather than scale. Located about 20 minutes northeast of Austin, The Globe screens cult classics, television events, and family favorites — it does not show new first-run films, which sets it apart from nearly every other drive-in in the state. Audio plays on 93.5 FM for crisp in-car sound. Adult tickets are $18 and children are $10, with kids 2 and under free. The theater is open Thursday through Sunday. With only 30 parking spots, The Globe fills up quickly — advance tickets are strongly recommended. Thursday through Sunday hours run from 6:00 PM into the late evening.
