Doc's Drive-In Theatre opened in October 2018 just south of Austin in Buda, Texas, quickly becoming a Hill Country favorite for families and date nights alike. The twin-screen theater is set on a scenic property and operates year-round, offering food, drinks, and snacks from its concession stand. What sets Doc's apart is its adjacent tiny house rental village, where guests can book movie-themed cabins for overnight stays — making it one of the most immersive drive-in experiences in the state. Tickets are $12 per car slot (includes the driver), with individual adult tickets at $10 and kids at $6. Doc's is located about 15 miles south of Austin, making it the most convenient full-time drive-in for Austin-area residents.
