The Silver Moon Drive-In has lit up the Lakeland sky since 1948, making it one of the longest-running drive-in theaters in the United States. Situated at 4100 New Tampa Highway between Tampa and Orlando, it features two screens—Screen 1 at 88.3 FM and Screen 2 at 89.3 FM—each showing nightly double features. Vintage speaker poles are still available in select rows for a nostalgic touch. A popular weekend swap shop operates Saturday and Sunday mornings with free admission and parking. Well-behaved leashed pets are welcome, and outside non-alcoholic food and drinks are permitted.
