Brazos Drive-In
Granbury, Texas
The Brazos Drive-In opened on June 5, 1952 and has never stopped running โ making it the longest continuously operating drive-in theater in Texas. Situated just one mile from Granbury's beautiful historic downtown courthouse, the single-screen theater sits on the banks of its namesake river region and is a cornerstone of Hood County community life. The theater runs from approximately March through November, with a double feature every single night broadcast on 89.1 FM. Admission is a flat $20 per carload โ an outstanding value that brings together families, couples, and friends for a classic Texas evening under the stars. Free Movie Wednesdays make it even more accessible. The original popcorn machine is still in use, and the Brazos Drive-In is listed on the Texas Drive-Ins Film Trail as a site of cultural significance.
