About Winner Drive-In
The Winner Drive-In has been a Tripp County tradition since it first opened in 1950, and the same family has operated it through every season since. Located on US Highway 18 in Winner, the single-screen theater accommodates 375 cars and operates Friday through Monday from May through August. The Winner Drive-In is cash only, and showtimes are posted on the theater's Facebook page. For the remote communities of south-central South Dakota, the Winner Drive-In represents more than a place to watch movies — it is a genuine community gathering point.
