About Rubidoux Drive-In Theatre & Swap Meet

The Rubidoux Drive-In is a Riverside institution with three screens and a policy that sets it apart: outside food and drinks are welcome, so bring your own cooler, lawn chairs, and snacks for the evening. The box office opens one hour before the first showing, and films begin at dusk — earlier in winter, later in summer. Sound is delivered through your car radio's FM band. Adults pay $9, and children ages 5–9 are admitted for just $1, with the price covering a full double feature. An adjacent swap meet operates on weekends, making Rubidoux a complete destination for an entire day of value and entertainment. The snack bar also serves popcorn, candy, and crowd-favorite carne asada nachos for those who prefer a classic concession experience.
