Misquamicut Drive-In Theater

Nestled along the shores of Misquamicut Beach at 316 Atlantic Avenue, this community-run drive-in has delighted South County families since 2013. Operated by the Misquamicut Business Association on town-owned property, the single-screen venue features a permanent screen built from stacked cargo containers and broadcasts audio on 96.3 FM. Classic crowd-pleasers — Jaws, The Goonies, Jurassic Park, and Back to the Future — anchor the schedule Thursday through Saturday evenings from May through October. Gates open at 6:30 PM with the feature starting around 9 PM. A concession stand offers hot dogs, candy, popcorn, and cold drinks. Tickets are $25 per carload, sold online only. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome.
