About Lynn Auto Theatre
Lynn Auto Theatre holds a remarkable distinction: it is the oldest operating drive-in theater in Ohio and the second oldest in the world, continuously showing films since construction began in the summer of 1935. Located at the junction of State Routes 21 and 250 in Strasburg, Tuscarawas County, the Lynn is a living piece of American entertainment history. In 1996, the theater installed Digital Dolby FM Stereo transmitters and upgraded to first-run HD content, bringing modern audio to a venue built nearly 90 years ago.
