About Lakeport Auto Movies

Lakeport Auto Movies has been showing double features under the northern California night sky since 1974, surviving as one of the state's rare small-town drive-in theaters. Located just off the eastern shore of Clear Lake in Lake County, the single-screen theater serves a devoted community of locals and summer vacationers who flock to the region's scenic lakes and campgrounds. Admission is priced by carload — $25 per vehicle for up to 7 people — making it an exceptional value for families and groups. Sound is delivered through your car's FM radio. A snack bar and restrooms are on-site for the evening's convenience. The theater's no-frills, authentic experience and peaceful rural setting make it a hidden gem well worth the detour for drive-in enthusiasts traveling through Northern California's wine and lake country.
